We have 3 Birman cats that leave white fur everywhere. We'd tried loads of other things to pick it up, but they were average at best. Bought one these and was so pleased at how well they work. Since the first purchase we now have 3 of these dotted around the house. Sometimes I wish they'd pick up other stuff like a bit of cat litter off a sofa, but it's only the fur, still that would make the vacuum redundant. You can also use them on your clothes. They're brilliant.

Picks haír up off rugs, stairs, furniture, etc so well!!!

The actual hair grabbing surface area is way too small, does not do a great job
Jessica
This little thing is amazing. It quickly picks up hair. My cat is black on her back and white on her front and I have dark blue furniture so always there's white patches all over and this cleans it up in record time.

I use this all the time. I have 2 dogs and they shed so much hair and I use this on my couches and bed and it collects the hair that I can’t see with my eyes!

I was concerned that it wouldn't work as well as the more expensive ones but as soon as I got it I tried it out and it worked great. I have 3 cats and have tried all sorts of hair removal gadgets. This is the only one that actually worked so well and picked up all the hair. Well worth the price which is below several competitors.

This works great! So great I have purchased more for other dog owners as gifts. It is a game changer.,

Update: This was a one star review but I've changed it because I wasn't using it correctly. It works fine!

I bought this trying to save a few bucks because it's a little cheaper than the original Chom Chom. Don't bother if you have this in mind because this one does not open fully when you try to use it it makes it really difficult to use and it just sits in my closet which is why I'm returning it right now. I am going to get myself another Chom Chom.

I almost threw this thing away after the first use and labeled it as junk. It didn’t catch much of anything and I was quite disappointed. However, I pulled it back out to use on my cat tree and figured out there’s a trick to it, and now I use it quite a bit!It doesn’t work amazing on clothes, so that’s sort of a bummer. If you’re looking for something for clothes then your best bet is the sticky roller. However, using those on furniture or small areas that are hard to get with a vacuum can make those disappear quick. So this thing is nice if you know how to use it.When using it, it’s all about keeping the same direction for a couple swipes. Then once you’ve built up some hair, you have to push down on the scraper while you push the brush to the opposite direction. Otherwise the hair won’t come off the brush like you want it to. Might sound confusing, but once you’re looking at it then you’ll get it. I wasn’t expecting this, so I thought it was just broken or didn’t work at first.Overall I’m happy with the product. I gave it a 4 star for 2 reasons. 1. It’s a bit difficult to figure out how to get it to actually do anything. 2. It doesn’t work well on clothes or loose fabrics. Other than that, It saves me a lot of time and trouble, and keeps extra hair from being picked up on my cats fur or my clothes!

Literally gets all the pet hair off my bed

It kinda works I guess. Not as quickly as I'd like. Bought it for microfiber couch to pickup med-long straight dog hairs from a lab/husky.
Takes many passes and seems like it doesn't get a lot of them. A silicone brush and vacuum works so much better. It didn't work for me on clothes. Sticky roller still works best for that.

It rolls really easy , but when run over hair it scatters it and static electricity makes it stick to the unit When roller has hair in it it will not push into the cavity It just builds up to where I have to clean it myself

The large handle makes it comfortable to use. It works so well and quickly, I love it. The amount of pet fur it gets off the furniture is crazy, and I can't live without one of these now. Feels sturdy and it's easy to empty as well.

This lint roller is AWESOME! Way better than any of the paper ones you buy from the store. It picks up EVERYTHING from your clothes. I absolutely love it.

I watch the video and I was using this tool incorrectly. I only brushed in one direction. Now that I go back and forth over the hair, it works perfectly. One swipe and the hair is gone. Then open the hair collector and pick up the loose hair. Best tool for quickly removing pet hair. I have two cats and a dog that shed constantly. My bed sheets are black where the black cat likes to lay. Now with this tool I can very quickly remove all they hair every day. This makes doing the laundry much easier and the filter does not get over loaded with hair.

I had a low expectation for this pet hair remover but it works amazingly well! I am astounded about how much pet fur it gets off the sofa and the carpet. There are other pet hair removers that are more expensive. Don't bother with those.... this one is a good price and it works great! I've already bought a second one so a family member can join me in the Saturday cleaning.

There are so many more better hair removing products. This thing was way too expensive for the poor results it created. Also not the greatest usage experience

The idea is great but it does not work on all surfaces. I tried it on my jeans that got all dusty and it got clean super quick and easy. But then I tried to clean dog hair off a chair cover and it refused to pick up a single hair. Use with caution - I guess it will only work on the smaller particles and with stiffer fabric/surfaces. Emptying it is super easy.

This is easy to use an has cut down on pet hair . Wish I could find one this good for my floors .

This item is the item you never knew you needed so desperately. Until I used this for the first time, I was very skeptical of the quality of cleaning it would provide. As a multiple pet owner, I like to vacuum my couch covers daily to every other day, this item has made keeping everything neat and clean a quick and easy Chore. Before I make my bed every day, I do a quick once over of the fitted sheet, the top of the comforter, even the pillows, and I am able to extend the life of my duvet cover by a few days. I am so amazed at how accurately and thoroughly this item picks up cat and dog fur, but especially the cats. That's where it really impresses me. I have found that it does not work as good on clothing, mostly flat surfaces, like couch, cushions, pet beds, the top of my mattress, it seems to work most efficiently. It is easy to clean this item out, impressively, stable and sturdy. Normally I would have to go through this whole process of stripping. My couch covers off and putting "human covers" on top whenever friends or family came over, but with this item, it's been nice not having to stress out if I will have to "tape roll" someone leaving my home after sitting on the couch.

I LOVE this tool! I have a 140 lb Rottie that loves to body slam and slide down the front of my fabric couch leaving lots of dog hair. The new vacuum attachment didn't work that well and honestly, who wants to drag out the big corded vacuum every few days to clean the front of the couch? I can use this every day and anytime! Easy to empty. Love it!

I ordered but was skeptical, it works amazingly well. I could not believe how quickly it filled with hair , I have a norwegian forest cat that sheds like crazy

It is very easy to use and can effectively remove hair from my couch and chairs.

I have two cats and they shed like you wouldn't believe!! We have a vacuum but it isn't the best at getting their hair off our couch and other seating in my apartment. I found this little device and thought i'd give it a try and im so glad I did it works like a charm! The before and after of my couch is incredible, this picks up the hair so easily and its super easy to clean out after. Its also not too large making it easy to find a small place for it.

It IS the best I've ever tried, but I didn't qualify it as the best tool ever made. But damn close!!!This tool is very easy to use and out-performs anything else I've tried, including a vacuum. I've used towels to kind of sweep the hair off, mini-brooms, and sticky-paper rolls, and boy did those rolls take a lot of effort. They might pick up the hair, but once any part of that paper touched hair, you had to strip that piece off for a clean, new paper! And I have three dogs, two of which shed like crazy.I then bought something similar to this item, but it was a type of wand, and didn't have a roller. The material itself actually grabbed the hair fairly well - at first. Because the wand had a sheath-type "cleaner", it seemed to smooth out the material more than actually clean it. Basically, it seemed to dull the fibers in the material to where the wand didn't work so well after a while. And the sheath didn't really "clean" all the hair off that well, either, as previously stated. But not so with this tool! It picks up the majority of the hair in its path with the first pass. It's light-weight, so you don't exert much energy (even if you're using it on a king-sized bed or couch). The material never gets scraped against anything, and so most likely won't have the fibers that grab the hair dulled. The hair that's picked up is trapped in a little compartment that you just open, run your finger down it's length on the inside, and pull out the hair! Easy-peasy!I haven’t tried it on clothes or anything that isn’t a big, flat surface yet, but I think it would work just as well. The only difference being is that it would take a little more effort, due to keeping the item being worked on flat.As far as any negatives, the “latch” that keeps the compartment containing the picked-up hair seems like it won’t last a real long time. I say this because it can barely be called a latch, and the “locking” mechanism is small. And it's plastic. And it's not real secure as it is. Sometimes, it can be real sensitive and will open for what seems to be no reason. I just think after repeated use, it might not latch anymore at all. But time will tell.Overall, the product is fast, easy to use, and performs well. And can be re-used over and over again. Who could ask for anything more?

Easy to use and pretty decently removes pet hair on couches. There are few other brands which look very similar to each other, but I bought this because it was the cheapest ;)At first it was kind of confusing how to remove the removed pet hair, but figured out by moving the roller back and forth using the gray rubber thing, and it collects the hair inside the compartment. Nice!

I've seen some fur cleaners like this but had never tried this style. I couldn't be happier with my choice! As you can see in the photos* I have a sweet long haired white cat and a dark bed coverlet. My Snowy sheds like crazy and this kept me having to hang out my covers frequently since nothing was working well to clean up his fur.Now I can easily clean up after he sleeps next to me all night. I just make my bed and then add it the extra wipe down each morning and we're good to go for another day. Some of the features I love and how the brush can the switched so you can go in either a pushing or pulling direction. This helps me pick up more fur that gets stuck in the fabric of my cover. The size and shape are easy to use and it's lightweight so my arm doesn't get exhausted while cleaning my entire bed top. There's a storage compartment on the other side that I imagine is for the excess fur to but I just pull the fur off the front when it gets too dirty.I couldn't be happier with this choice and would totally recommend to all my friends and family with fur babies!*Photos show half uncleaned on left and half cleaned on right.

Ever since I got my third kitty, his fur has caused a fuzzy catastrophe all over the couch and ottoman. Normally I would just use a handheld vacuum and an old style lint remover on the furniture, but this nifty hair collector saves so much time compared to my old method. It works so well with just back and forth motions just like a vacuum. I can get my furniture done in less than 5 minutes now! It collects all of the hair and leaves no trace of my kitty behind. The hair compartment pops right open and you can easily scoop the hair out to throw it away. Just be mindful of where you’re placing your thumb while handling this because I’ve accidentally popped open the hair compartment a couple of times haha! But it doesn’t fly out at all so that’s good. 5 out of 5 stars for me! I love this new addition to my cleaning supplies!

I have two cats, one short hair, one long hair and very fluffy. It’s a wonder how they still have any fur left with how much I find around the house. This little gadget is great for cleaning the hair off clothes, bedding, and couches. It’s so much more useful than a regular sticky lint roller or using the vacuum. I just wish it was better at self-cleaning, because it doesn’t seem to collect in the back compartment very well. For an example I used it on my cat’s bed, which was absolutely covered in fur. It took maybe 30 seconds to get all the hair up, and as a bonus it fluffed it back up. As you can see in the pictures there’s still a ton of hair on the roller, and not that much in the compartment. It seems like you have to get a ton of fur on the roller for it to start self cleaning, but it doesn’t make it less effective. So, 4 stars from me.

Stubborn dog hair seems to elude my vacuum cleaner... no matter what "pet" model vacuum I may be using. Sticky rollers work very well, better than this device, but are consumable and wasteful. This dog hair remover is somewhere in the middle in terms of effectiveness.I was a bit confused when I received it, as I assumed it rolled. Actually you just slide it back and forth. The internals are the same material as one of those magic lint brushes of yore , and the rolling action is simply to brush the brush, which removes the hair into the bin. It's good for a routine cleaning, but for deep cleaning or stubborn dog hair, keep an adhesive roller around.

Oh man. This thing is a total life saver. My only problem is I did not buy one sooner. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat and this keeps all my beds and furniture free of all textures of animal hair. It's quick and easy to empty and does not snag fabrics. 5 stars

This works better at picking pet hair off my couch than my vacuum did. Easy to use and clean. So much better than a lint roller on clothes as well.

I bought this mainly for the top of my comforter. Works so good getting up pet hair!

I swear by this thing.FIRST OF ALL, I have 4 cats, ALL of them are shedding like crazy because it's summer and they don't like to be brushed so rather than fight to clean them all day I get a little bit of brushing in before they decide enough is enough, and then follow up surfaces with this thing on and off throughout the day.The pictures speak for themselves, this thing works and it works WELL. No adhesive or sticky surfaces, no paper to replace after it's been used up, nothing. It picks up hair efficiently and stores it ready for trash. The bristles actually alternate as you push or pull with it by virtue of the grey rubber strip in the middle. ALSO, every time it swaps directions it deposits what it picks up into the back chamber. It feels weird to be able to go in either direction without consequence BUT IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY. My couch was covered in hair but even on the worst cushion it took 2 passes before seeing a strong notable difference. Even then the couch is fuzzy on it's own and I only needed 4 passes to go from extreme hair to bits and pieces. All in all this is a 10/10 product and I literally use it every day. Black clothes, sheets, pillows, it works perfectly and I am ashamed that I never had one before. If shedding pets are an issue for you then I promise this is one of the best investments you can make.

We have two labs who shed a lot. This product got all the hair off of our couches and did not damage any furniture. I was even able to get pet hair off of the lampshades. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. I highly recommend this product.

Easy to use on your furniture to clean pet fur. My dog is shedding right now and this product is just amazing, it traps the fur in the little compartment.

The only reason this didn't get the full five stars is the hair collection area needs to be slightly wider to get my fat fingers in!!! This thing works better than my vacuum, better than a sticky roller. Don't think about it anymore just buy it. Use a back and forth motion for most effective hair removal. Even if you don't use the back and forth it still picks up massive amounts of hair. Don't expect it to get crumbs but hair is gone. We have three animals - a cat, a short hair dog, and a long hair dog. It gets all fur types!!! I can effectively clean off all my cat's favorite sleeping spots and the whole sectional in five minutes. This thing is amazing.

I liked the ease of use. It got all the dog hair off my couch. My vaccum didn't even do as good a job. Thanks for the product.

I love my kitty but she gets hair (aka kitty glitter) EVERYWHERE. I have microfiber couches that are apparently feline approved too because she spends a lot of time on them...meaning everyone who comes over to my house is GONNA GET CAT HAIR on them whether they want to or not.So I ordered this to give a try and see if it would help eliminate at least some of it. I am happy to say that after using it, my couches look brand new and pretty cat hair free. WOW!1. This is super easy to use...no assembly required, no instructions required...just ready to go right out of the package.2. It's GREAT for picking up pet hair and bigger dust particles3. It's super easy to clean when you are done.4. It's simple but effective.5. It's a BARGAIN, especially since it works so well.6. It's reusable - just clean it when it gets too full of hair. Super easy!7. It's solidly built so it should last for a long time.8. It's comfortable to hold and the handle isn't super staticky like some of these are, so you won't end up with the cat hair on your hand instead of the roller (Something that happened to me with a previous "magic" pet hair remover I had...where the only magic was that I was duped into paying $20 for something that didn't really work LOL)I've tried a few of these so you don't have to waste your time or your money - THIS is the one to get! It REALLY WORKS just as advertised. Highly recommend it!

Having a long haired cat inside and two outside cats that come in daily and a Corgi, this brush will gets lots of use. My sister has one and loves it and so sent me the link to this one. I also am a quilter and am using it to remove hair from my quilts too. Great invention!

I can't believe I lived without this for so long. This is so helpful for cleaning up cat hair around the house. I've used it on sheets and even on the cat tree. It's easy to throw out the hair after.

This lint roller works great once you know how to actually use it. It comes with no instructions but I found that you need to go back and forth for the roller to work properly.
