My pup has dewclaws on all four paws, and these clippers help me keep them trimmed. My dog understands basic commands but isn't used to nail clippers. These are my first pair, and it's only my second attempt at trimming his nails. It took me a month to gather the courage to trim them the first time after buying the clippers, and surprisingly, it went very well. I even recorded my second attempt. For anyone worried about splitting nails, I discovered that holding the nail close to the trimmer, rather than the paw itself, is crucial. P.S. - I'm far from an expert... It took me five years to buy my first clipper.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

As you can tell, my dog wasn't thrilled with these clippers. Despite that, I personally find the product durable and handy.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I use these clippers to trim my dog's nails. She's a chihuahua/pitbull mix, so her nails grow quickly and quite long. They're the perfect size for her since she's more medium-sized than small (for context, she weighs 26 lbs whereas a typical chihuahua maxes out at 13 lbs). I find these clippers are ideal for medium to large dogs; they might be too large for smaller breeds. I appreciate the comfortable handles and the additional nail guard at the back, which prevents me from overcutting her nails. Since she has anxiety issues, I was initially nervous about trimming her nails myself. I used to take her to the groomer, but it became expensive and inconvenient due to wait times. After using these clippers just three times, I gained confidence in trimming her nails at home, and my dog is becoming more comfortable with the process too. As a novice at nail trimming, I'm impressed with how well these clippers work.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I'm uncertain if I can obtain a refund since I've already used these clippers, but I'm incredibly disappointed with this purchase. I came across positive reviews about using these clippers for trimming large dogs, but unfortunately, my experience didn't align with theirs. Previously, I used Millers Forge nail clippers which worked effortlessly until they dulled, and my attempt to resharpen them didn't go well. After researching, I opted for these clippers as they claimed to maintain their sharpness for a long time. However, that's not my experience. I have a mix of lab, pyrenees, and mastiff breeds, and I've never had issues trimming their nails before. Today, when I received these clippers in the mail, it required excessive grip strength just to close them over the tips of their nails! I'm not weak—I work on aircraft and turn wrenches, so my hands are quite strong. Despite this, these clippers were extremely difficult to use, and the action of clipping forcefully caused the lock mechanism to slide on two occasions, all on my first day of use. Furthermore, my dogs seemed uncomfortable with the cuts on their thicker nails. I won't be using these clippers again and cannot recommend them for larger breed dogs. They may work fine for medium or small dogs, but I'm replacing them immediately today.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I initially bought an electric dog nail trimmer, but it was slow and ineffective for my bulldog's thick, long nails. I was also apprehensive about clipping my dog's nails at home. Today, I received these manual nail clippers with a guard, and within 5 minutes, I finished trimming my dog's nails. They were incredibly easy to use, and the guard provided me with much-needed reassurance. I also found the tips on the back of the box helpful, especially the advice to trim with the guard first and wait a week for the quick to retract before trimming a bit more. This guidance made me feel more confident using the clippers. If you're nervous about trimming your dog's nails, this purchase is perfect for you. It's quick, easy, and taking just 5 minutes to read the instructions and tips on the box is well worth it. I usually don't write reviews, but this one is worth it. I rely on reviews to make purchasing decisions, so I wanted to assure skeptical buyers that this is truly a great purchase!

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

The Boshel Professional Pet Nail Clippers are incredibly sturdy, and the blades cut efficiently. I received them at a discounted rate in exchange for my review, but I would gladly pay the full price of $12.99 for them. I appreciate the rounded, thick handles with a comfortable rubber grip on the sides. Compared to my previous clippers with flat handles that were uncomfortable and difficult to hold, these are a significant improvement. There's a nail file tucked inside one of the handles, although I've never used one on my dog's nails before. Having it easily accessible while clipping encourages me to give it a try. While the file is a bit tricky to remove from the handle, the convenience of having it readily available is a nice bonus. The clippers feature a protective guard to prevent over-cutting, which can be moved aside for tasks like trimming dewclaws or more extensive cutting, although caution is essential to avoid injuring your dog. With the nail guard in place, you can safely trim up to 3/16ths of an inch. For dogs with severely overgrown nails, professional assistance may be necessary initially, followed by maintenance with these clippers. The only issue I have with these clippers is the safety lock. While it's relatively easy to use, there's a potential safety concern: even when locked, there's a small opening that could potentially be hazardous if accessed by curious children mimicking adults. To unlock the clippers, you must squeeze the handles together to release the lock, which inadvertently allows them to function. Therefore, it's crucial to store them securely away from young children. Overall, provided they are kept away from playing toddlers, I find these clippers excellent, especially given their current unbeatable price.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

These clippers are straightforward to use. I used them on my Pomeranian's claws, and they are adjustable, making them suitable for larger claws too. While the included file serves its purpose, I wasn't particularly fond of it. Additionally, I noticed that the back guard on the clippers can slide slightly from side to side. I only realized this after accidentally dropping it on the hardwood floor, which might have caused it to shift.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

Our dog is extremely energetic, especially when it comes to avoiding nail clippings. We often have to lure her with treats just to get through clipping one paw at a time. Even when we manage to get her to sit still, she would jerk her paws away unless it was just at the nail tip, despite efforts to soften her nails/paws to prevent brittleness. I mention this because I assumed this was just her nature until I tried the Boshel nail clippers. Firstly, my hand has been hurting lately, so I was hesitant to attempt clipping, but the clippers are incredibly easy to handle. They're particularly suitable for people with weak hand strength. Secondly, and most importantly, she no longer recoils or jumps every time I clip her nails. This has significantly reduced the clipping time, and I can now make the necessary cuts on the first try. I attribute this to a combination of reduced recoil and the sharpness of the clippers. Thirdly, the clippers include a nail file that conveniently slides into the end. If you have a dog, these clippers are a must-buy!

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I bought this as a backup to my usual nail trimmers and thankfully tested it before I really needed it. The handles are a bit too large for my preference, and overall, it feels quite bulky. I used it on both my large dog and my small Labradoodle-Yorkie mix. I found it pinched while cutting the larger dog's nails and snapped through sharply, unlike the smoother trimmers I've used before. I may return it or give it to someone who doesn't mind its size. Instead, I opted to buy a knock-off Dremel tool to grind down their nails, which felt much safer as it didn't pinch the nerves or quick of the nail. It's not poorly made, but it's not the best option for me.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I typically don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with these clippers. I have a rescue boxer mix who becomes extremely stressed during nail trims or vet visits. Trying to trim her nails at home has been a challenge; I've been hesitant to use clippers for fear of cutting them too short and causing her distress. However, after reading the reviews for these clippers, I decided to give them a try. I'm thrilled to report that it only took about 2 minutes to trim her front paws with these! They are absolutely amazing! I still give her a dish of peanut butter to distract her, but she wasn't bothered by these clippers at all. For those starting to trim their dog's nails at home, especially if your dog is fearful, I recommend starting with a nail file to get them used to you handling their paws. If they get nervous, take breaks and gradually build their comfort level. Once they're more accustomed to it, these clippers are a great upgrade from filing, allowing you to trim their nails shorter and quicker. Peanut butter is definitely a must-have each time, and now she actually gets excited when I mention trimming her nails! I hope these tips help others facing similar challenges.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

For the past 16 months, we've been taking our 130 lb, 18-month-old Great Dane to the vet for nail clippings. Due to his size, the cost has increased to $13 per visit. Recently, our dog had grown more fearful of these visits. To save money and ease his anxiety, I decided to try these clippers at home. I calculated that two DIY clippings would cover the cost of the clippers. Initially, we attempted clipping his nails at home, offering treats to calm him. However, despite being used to handling his paws, he remained nervous about the clippers, and we abandoned the attempt. During a visit to the pet wash for his bath, we brought the clippers along. While my husband bathed him, I managed to clip his nails unnoticed by distracting him. The first session was overdue, and I accidentally cut two nails too short, but quick application of styptic powder stopped the bleeding. A dog groomer friend praised the results a few days later, impressed with my rookie effort. Today, during his second bath and pedicure on 5/30/2020, four weeks later, I cautiously trimmed a bit from each nail, and it went smoothly. Our dog's thick nails posed no challenge for these clippers, making the experience less stressful for everyone involved. I enthusiastically recommend these clippers. By doing it ourselves, we're saving money and preventing our dog from developing a negative association with vet visits.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I had high expectations for these clippers, having used human nail clippers for the past 40 years. However, while these scissor-style clippers provide a cleaner cut than human clippers, they are cumbersome to open wide enough to insert the nail into the clipping slot. This extra step adds time, which can be frustrating when dealing with a fidgety cat. Additionally, the angle of these clippers makes it challenging to see precisely where I'm cutting compared to human clippers, which naturally offer better visibility. It's possible my difficulties stem from my long familiarity with using human clippers. I'll continue using these specialty clippers for a while longer, and if they become easier to use, I'll update this review. One Year Update: I still switch between these scissor-style clippers and traditional human nail clippers, depending on which cat I'm trimming. I've found that these specialty clippers are generally easier to use when held "upside down," with the blades angled downwards. This position feels more natural for my hand. I maintain my three-star rating, which I don't consider negative (on an ABCDF scale, C/3 is an acceptable grade, with room for improvement). I use these clippers regularly but not for all of my cats.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I'm thrilled with how perfect these are for my Maltese! Choosing these clippers was such a great decision; I found it incredibly easy to trim her nails—less than 5 minutes for all four paws! They're very gentle too. I've learned that size matters; using the right size made a big difference. Previously, I had trouble with Lady crying whenever I tried to trim her nails. I also bought a Dremel to file them down instead of clipping, but it's a bit slow for my liking. It still works for smoothing sharp edges, but this little clipper is much quicker!

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

On the first use, these clippers performed very well on my dog. They cut quickly and accurately, which helped my dog stay calm and not jump around as much. (: Purchased L

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

We bought these clippers without knowing what to expect, but since the other reviews were great, we decided to give them a try. We have a very small dog and were concerned that these clippers might not offer the security of preventing over-cutting. However, we absolutely LOVE these clippers. The safety guard allows us to trim in small increments, ensuring our pup's nails stay safe and healthy. They are definitely worth more than twice the price!

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

They operate silently, allowing me to use them while she's sleeping, which is a relief because she's quite the handful when awake, with those razor-sharp kitten claws.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

My cats generally allow me to clip their claws, though they do vocalize their displeasure. I was concerned about my previous clippers as they seemed to crush the claws, causing cracks that could potentially lead to pain and infections. Hoping to find better ones, I tried several others before discovering these. Despite their simple appearance, they deliver the cleanest cuts! One cat doesn't even protest anymore, probably because she can't feel these clippers as she did the others. The other cat still grumbles, but she's quite vocal about anything.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I have a large and strong young German Shepherd who has only had her nails trimmed at the vet's office. I attempted to trim her nails with another set of clippers, but she wouldn't stay still long enough for me to do so, and I was nervous about cutting into the quick due to her heavy black claws. Hoping for a solution, I tried a Dremel Tool with a special nail sanding attachment, but she resisted and wouldn't cooperate long enough to trim even a single nail. Her nails had grown very long, and she was chewing on them, indicating they were bothering her. Feeling discouraged, I decided to try Boshel clippers, and they solved the problem once and for all. This product is excellent. I was able to trim my dog's nails quickly and without fear of hurting her, thanks to the safe design that minimizes the risk of cutting into the quick. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Thank you!

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

These are by far the best nail clippers I've ever bought. As a volunteer with a dog rescue and frequent foster parent, trimming nails is a constant need. These clippers feel great in my hand and provide a secure grip. They effortlessly trim even large nails thanks to their sharp blades. I appreciate the safety guard and the handy nail file that slides into the handle. Overall, these clippers are fantastic—easy to use and highly effective. I give them a solid five stars!

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I used a cheap nail clipper on my dog and found it required excessive pressure to cut, which bothered my dogs. Despite being new, they didn't perform well. Encouraged by Good Housekeeping and positive reviews, I ordered these clippers expecting them to be "razor sharp." They arrived today, and I was eager to easily trim my dog's nails. With the guard on, it took both hands squeezing to cut one nail. A small piece got caught between the blades and guard, jamming the clippers. After freeing it, I tried again with the same frustrating result. On the third nail, I moved the guard, positioned the clippers, and squeezed—resulting in my dog screaming in pain. She ran into her teepee, and I followed to comfort her. Blood was everywhere. These clippers are not sharp as claimed. Sharp clippers should cut easily and allow you to stop before reaching the quick. Instead, these require excessive force, putting your dog at risk. They are worse than the 99 cent clippers I bought from BOSHEL.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

My nervous lab did surprisingly well with these quick and easy trimmers. She hadn’t had her nails done in a long time due to fear and anxiety from both of us. Following the instructions, I tackled one nail at a time, rewarding her with a small treat after each cut. It went smoothly for both of us. I realized my old clippers were dull, which stressed her out and made nail trimming a challenge.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

After trying the CHI Guillotine Nail Clipper on our 20 lb. Boston Terrier "Dude," we opted to switch to the Boshel Dog Nail Clippers. They work much better than the guillotine style. The rubbery grip is more comfortable compared to the metal one, and it allows for easier maneuvering and angling of the clippers. There's also less pressure applied all at once when clipping Dude's nails, reducing the risk of nail breakage or cracking. The built-in "sensor" barrier on these clippers helps prevent cutting off too much nail at once. Additionally, I discovered that applying a little oil to your pet's nails (especially if they have light-colored nails) makes it easier to see the quick, ensuring you don't clip too short.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

We have 3 dogs, 2 of which are large breeds, and 1 is a 4-month-old (already pushing 50 lbs). I bought these clippers to get our puppy used to having his nails done and to also clip the other 2 dogs' nails. One of them HATES having her feet touched, but she did very well when I used them on her! She has been clipped too short too many times (crappy groomer), and these worked great! I even clipped our older Pyrenees' nails, which never need cutting since she is outside 24/7, and they cut through her tough nails so smoothly! When/if these clippers break or get dull, I am definitely buying another pair!

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I am a first-time user. It took me a month to gather the courage to do it. These clippers worked beautifully. If you are a first-timer like me, watch some YouTube videos; it will help, and you can feel confident that you have good clippers with these. I was so relieved. My dog has those black nails, which added to my fear. She was an angel for me. Her nails were so long. I took the tips off. They are still a little long, so I am waiting a week or so, then I will take off a bit more.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

These clippers perform exceptionally well on my pup. They are extremely sharp and effortlessly cut through even tough, thicker nails. My main concern when trimming my dog's nails is avoiding cutting them too short and hitting the quick, which could cause pain and reluctance for future trims. The safety stop feature is invaluable for gauging how far to trim, especially on his back feet where he tends to pull away. I appreciate that they securely grip the nail without slipping. The comfortable grips allow me to maintain a secure hold for precise clipping. They are easy to clean and being stainless steel ensures they won't rust. The addition of a file to smooth the freshly cut nails is thoughtful, and I find the integrated storage slot for the file in the handle ingenious—it's such a simple yet practical feature that's often overlooked. These clippers are robust with a satisfying weight to them, ensuring durability and a smooth cutting action. I'm genuinely impressed with their performance, and considering their quality, the price is more than justified. I've used cheaper nail trimmers in the past that were flimsy and difficult to use, making these a standout choice for their solid build. If you're tired of getting scratched and want to save your furniture, trimming those nails is essential. While I received these dog clippers at a discounted rate for testing and evaluation purposes, my review is based solely on my personal experience and honest opinions of this product.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

The clippers arrived today, and I was very disappointed. The stop plate had tiny rust spots on it and was not parallel to the clippers. At the outer measurement, the stop plate is over 5 mm too deep to effectively prevent injury to my dog. Furthermore, there are light scratches throughout the blade and handle surface, which made me suspect they were used and repackaged, possibly a recycled return. Also, as a beginner, I found these clippers much too bulky to use on my 13-pound dog. It would require me to splay his paws extensively to isolate a nail, which is not easy to do with a dog that is apprehensive. I'm returning them without even trying to use them.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

I accidentally purchased two different nail clippers while comparing various brands in my cart. I've realized they're essentially the same thing, so no need to overthink it. I avoided buying a Dremel because I worried it might be too intense or ticklish for my dog. I don't think it's necessary anymore. I got my dog when he was about nine years old, so he should be 11 by now. He is a black Labrador with thick black toenails. Recently, I noticed he was having trouble getting up on the hardwood floor. I must admit we sort of skipped the puppy training part that mentions clipping their nails every 1 to 2 weeks. So, I laid him in the tub on the bath mat. Watching a few more YouTube videos really boosted my confidence. On the first nail, I found the guard useless and moved it up for better visibility. Taking off tiny shavings at a time, I got past the crumbly part to a dark center. When I felt the nail start to give under the clippers, I immediately stopped. Out of all ten toes, I only nicked the tip of a quick, no blood, just a pin-sized spot of liquid. To finish, I trimmed a bit from the thick top side to round it out, which supposedly helps the quick recede. For first-timers from a first-timer, the key is to go little by little. It took me over half an hour. I had it easy, though, because my dog is old and just lay there the whole time. For as long as I've known him, his nails would click on the floor. Now he’s so "stealthy," and I love the sound of his pads on the floor. He now has better traction to help him get up. I highly recommend this product! And here, of course, is an obligatory photo of the old man with his new pedicure, which he’d like me to stop touching now.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

They cut effortlessly, but leave the nails jagged, making them very sharp.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

Initially, I found these clippers satisfactory, though my older dogs are accustomed to a grinder-type tool for nail trimming. While I had no issues clipping my younger husky's dew claws, attempting her paw nails with these clippers caused bleeding on two nails despite using the guard, which I promptly stopped. Consequently, I plan to revert to using a sanding drum for my pups' paw nails to avoid causing them pain. Although my dog dislikes the vibration of the sanding drum, it's far preferable to the discomfort she experienced with the clippers. I may continue using the clippers for trimming dew claws, but for paw nails, I cannot recommend them. As a dog owner, I prioritize my pets' well-being and would not want them to suffer unnecessarily. While not a total loss, if I were to purchase clippers outright, I would not choose these." This version retains the structure and main points of the original while clarifying and expressing the issues encountered with the clippers.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

These are only good for cutting off a tiny amount of a cat's claw, about 1/8th inch or less. I usually cut off 3/8th inch, and when you try that, it crushes the claw! Also, they aren't strong enough for that much pressure. The handles must not be metal all the way up because they give under the pressure. Very disappointed. I've been cutting cats' claws for 40 years. Try to find some that have metal handles if you want to clip more at once and thus lessen the frequency of this job.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

They work pretty well for our Alaskan Malamute. Typically, we don't have to trim his nails because he is usually constantly running outside when we let him out. But lately, this winter season, for some reason, he doesn't like to go out in the rain anymore. So we bought these, and they worked great. Sharp and cuts nicely.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

Best nail clippers I've ever used. The scissor action of the blades is much safer and provides a cleaner trim than the 'guillotine' type trimmers I've used. My dog still got anxious about the trim, but it was much less traumatic than with previous clippers. Totally worth the price! The instructions on the box for a slow and regular trim to help avoid cutting the quick were also really helpful.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

This was my second purchase of the Boshel Dog Nail Clippers due to the first set getting dull and my failure to sharpen them correctly (my fault) after using them for 5 years, so I had to purchase a replacement. Both of my dogs are 80+ lbs and have very thick nails, and these clippers handle their nails quickly, effectively, and painlessly for both me and my pups. After using these clippers for so long, I will continue to purchase them in the future and recommend them to anyone who has large dogs.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

These definitely work better than the cheap pair I got from PetSmart. They work on my 60lb dog and my 20lb dog's nails. It's a bit challenging to cut some of my big dog's nails at a good angle. Also, it's a little harder for me to hold than for my husband since my hands are smaller. My biggest disappointment is that mine didn't come with the nail file to round out the nails.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

This is my second purchase of this item. The first pair lasted 5 years before the spring broke. This pair isn't working quite as well; the spring isn't as 'springy,' so it doesn't bounce back after clipping the nail. Maybe I just got a defective one. But it's still adequate for the job.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

This is my second time purchasing these clippers because I lost my first pair. They work really well for cutting my dog's nails with very easy-to-use grip handles. I did find the second pair requires a bit more force to clip through the nail, but it still gets the job done.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

This clipper is sturdy and effective, but the shield that is meant to prevent you from clipping your pet's nail too short occasionally shifts. I did end up trimming one of my puppy's nails a bit too short.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

Definitely not suitable for small breed dogs. I didn't pay enough attention to the description, and now I need to find someone with a medium or large dog to give these to. The grip is comfortable, and they appear to be well made. The built-in nail file is a great feature. Personally, I find clippers with a nail guard more challenging to use; if the nail isn't excessively long, you must carefully inspect each nail to avoid cutting the quick. I've heard stories of people mistakenly relying on the nail guard as a guide without checking for the quick, resulting in cutting off too much, causing pain and bleeding for their pets. Edit: After reading other reviews mentioning dull blades, I checked the ones I received. They are definitely not sharp enough to cut cleanly.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

We've tried several different nail clippers for our dog. I find that this one suits us best. I particularly like the guard that prevents you from trimming the nail too short.

Dog Nail Clipper And Trimmer

These are well-crafted, function excellently, and as a professional groomer, I will definitely purchase them again

It’s sweet!! You brush your dog then just push the button and the hair comes off slick as can be.

Dog Self Cleaning Slicker Brush

The nail clippers work great! No more crushed nails or accidentally clipping the quick. The nail guide helps prevent this! This is the perfect size for my 20lb dog.

Dog Nail Clippers - Medium/Small

I haven't tried them yet except to confirm they are very sharp, but with rounded tips, that's a good thing. They were smaller than I expected. The two handles are just big enough for one finger each. I think that's a good thing, too, because this way it seems they'll be more maneuverable and controllable when working in close to the cat's paws. Also, I expect the curved blades will nicely hold the claw that's being clipped in place while it's being clipped. My (much bigger) tree branch loppers have these curves blades, and they grab the branch as it's being cut, a helpful design feature. I can check back after I've tried these cat nail clippers on my cat for the first time, but I expect they will work well. Construction is excellent quality. Ordering and delivery went smoothly.

Cat Nail Clippers

I really love this for my dogs, especially because they have black nails, making it tricky to know how much to trim sometimes.

BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmer

These worked wonderfully on my dog. I really appreciate the light and the nail guard, which help ensure we don’t cut too much. Definitely worth the investment!

BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmer

I initially purchased a different brand, thinking this was the better option. I returned them right away because they lacked the metal guard to prevent over-cutting. This one also features an LED light to help you see the quick more clearly. I would highly recommend these to anyone trimming their pet's nails at home.

BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmer

BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmer

The quality is excellent, they function smoothly, and the size is just right. They’re also quite sharp, so handle them with care.

BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmer

Does a great job! The light is a bit in the way at times because it’s not further down, but I really like it overall!

BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmer

The light on these is incredibly useful when trimming my dog’s nails. While they may feel a bit bulky, these nail clippers are highly effective, and I would prefer them over the standard store-bought ones.

BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmer

These dog clippers with a light are great. With four dogs, we clip nails frequently, and these performed much better than our previous clippers, cutting our dogs’ nails easily. The light proved to be more helpful than we expected. Very satisfied with the purchase. (Review is for BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmers, Large Dog Nail Clippers with Light & Safety Guard)

BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmer

BOSHEL LED Dog Nail Trimmer

The BOSHEL LED dog nail trimmers have made nail clipping so much simpler and less stressful! Thanks to the built-in LED light, I can easily see where to cut, which helps me avoid the quick. This gives me more confidence, especially when trimming my large dog’s thick nails. The clippers are sharp and provide a clean cut without causing splitting or cracking. Plus, it comes with a nail file to smooth out any rough edges. These clippers are professional-grade, safe, and incredibly easy to use—perfect for grooming at home!

The light wasn’t very effective for me since it’s not very bright. However, the clippers themselves were sharp, making it easy to trim a large dog’s nails with minimal effort. The handles’ grips are a nice touch too.

The size is perfect, they’re functional, easy to use, and incredibly sharp. I’ve used them on my lab’s thick black nails, which always make me nervous. But these have a guard, and they work wonderfully.

Update: The seller quickly resolved the issue. The item arrived damaged, with the small black locking mechanism broken and unable to stay in place. It’s a tiny plastic piece that could easily be lost, and without it, I can't unlock the clippers. I’m really disappointed because the product seemed to be of good quality overall, except for this small part. It feels sturdy and well-made, but that black plastic locking piece is essential. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to contact the seller, so I’ll be returning it.

The sharp nail clippers are great for my large Labradors. They come with a depth guard, a locking latch to keep them securely closed when stored, and a bright LED light to help spot the nail quick, even on dark nails. I'm really pleased with these durable clippers!

These clippers are excellent for helping my dog walk better. They feature a protective guard to prevent injury, have comfortable handles, and make a great gift. It’s worth the investment because it saves on vet bills, has a light to see under the fur, and is sharp enough that my dog didn’t bleed or cry out. However, they may not work well on dogs with dark nails. Plus, I don’t think they’ll rust quickly.
